Music Boosters Board and General Booster Meetings Tuesday, May 15th:

The Music Boosters will hold both Board and General Booster Meetings on Tuesday, May 15th in the band room.  The Executive Board will meet from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.  The General Music Booster meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.  All RBHS Band, Orchestra and Color Guard families are members of the RBHS Music Boosters and are encouraged to attend all booster meeting!

Concert Bands 1 & 2 Spring Concert at RBHS PAC Wednesday, May 16th:

The RBHS Concert Bands 1 & 2 will present their Spring Concert at the RBHS Performing Arts Center this Wednesday, May 16th.  Here is the itinerary for the evening:

5:45 p.m. - Percussion students report and start moving equipment to PAC
6:00 p.m. - Concert Band 2 (Per 1) set up in PAC and warm up on stage.
6:45 p.m. - Concert Band 1 (Per 3) arrive and warm up in band room
7:00 p.m. - Concert Band 2 performs
7:30 p.m. - Concert Band 1 performs
7:50 p.m. - Concert ends, please rack and stack your chair and stand

Wind Ensemble Exchange Concert with Santa Monica HS Saturday, May 19

The Santa Monica and Rancho Bernardo High School Wind Ensembles will perform together in an exchange concert in the RBHS Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 19th.  Itinerary this concert:

• 4:00 p.m. - RBHS Wind Ensemble students report to PAC for rehearsal with Santa Monica HS Wind Ensemble
• 5:30 p.m. - Dinner for all Wind Ensemble students. 
  
  • The RBHS Music Boosters will provide pizza for all students.
  • RBHS Wind Ensemble students are asked to donate the following items for this dinner:
    • Percussion - 1 case of bottled water
    • Woodwinds - "finger food" desserts (brownies, cookies, etc.)
    • Brass - 1 bag of chips
• 6:30 p.m. - Change into concert attire
• 7:00 p.m. - Performance

  • Combined Wind Ensemble

RBHS Bands Concert at California Center for the Arts Escondido Monday,  May 21st Ticket and Performance Information:

The Rancho Bernardo Wind Ensemble and Concert Bands 1 & 2 will be presenting their spring concert with the Bernardo Heights Middle School at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido on Monday, May 21st at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $9.50 each for adults and $5.00 each for 18 and under will available at the box office the evening of the show.  Avoid box office lines by ordering your tickets online - tickets are now available for online purchase at the CCAE web site at http://www.artcenter.org/performances/.

The RBHS Wind Ensemble and Concert Bands 1 & 2 will be presenting their Spring Concert at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido 340 North Escondido Boulevard Escondido, CA 92025.

6:00 p.m. - Wind Ensemble report to stage for set up and warm up
6:40 p.m. - Concert Band 1 & 2 and BHMS drop off instruments backstage.  Enter backstage using the "Artist" entrance at the back of the building.
6:50 p.m. - Concert Band 1 & 2 and BHMS seated in the front of the theater.
7:00 p.m. - Wind Ensemble performs
7:45 p.m. - Wind Ensemble and BHMS Advanced Band set up and performs.
8:15 p.m. - All RBHS Band Students set up and perform.
8:45 p.m. - Concert ends.  Please rack and stack your chair and stand.

Note: This performance is a one last time to see all of the 2011-2012 RBHS band students performing together, and to see future high school band students in the BHMS Advanced Band!  Come on out and support our students by packing the audience!

Orchestra rehearsal change from May 21st to May 22nd:
